Jazmine's puppies are so cute and growing up fast. Most of them have homes but i will at least get to play with them a little longer.

I am going to the Midlands to test out a horse.And his name is Impi..

Summerveld show

On saturday the Summerveld Lodge hosted a horse show.I came fourth in the 50 cm jump off and I knocked a pole in the 60 cm jump off. In 70cm I came second, in the time and precision class.A big thank you to my riding instructor Dom for all her help, and to Debbi at Invergale for letting me ride her lovely pony Ali.

What has Ella been up to?

My dad has been away for nearly five months and because he used to help me with my blog I have not written one for nearly five months.

My mom and dad have been very busy. My dad has driven around South Africa on a Jet Ski to help raise money and awareness for people with cancer. He has also made a film about sharks which came out in America and was the fifth most popular televison show on Discovery Channel's Shark Week in twenty years.

I helped my mom and the other Shark Angels at Shark Park teach a group of orphans about sharks and they even got to swim with them.

Horseriding for my holiday

I went with my mom, dad and sister to a farm in the Natal Midlands named Haycroft to ride horses.The farm has some nice Welsh ponies and I got to ride a small one named "Chocolate". He was great and jumped beautifully.

CANSA Relay for Life and my dad's big ride for CANSA

Last Saturday I went with my mom, dad and sister Ashleigh to the Relay for Life at Crawford College La lucia to support my dad and his friends who will be driving around South Africa on jet-ski's to educate people about cancer. I lit a candle for my cat Dexter who died of cancer and one for grandpa Whiley who died of cancer this year. I was very sad.

School Swim Meet

At my school gala on Thursday I swam well. Kath Meaklim, who is one of the world's best swimmers, helped me prepare for the meet and although I have a long way to go I really appreciate her helping me - she is the best! My coach, Graham, is also a star for training me and I thank him for all of his help.

My results:

First in Backstroke, first in Butterfly, first in Breaststroke and first in Freestyle for my age group! In the Butterfly I also beat all the boys!!!!!

Today is my Birthday

Today I turn 8.....my friend Renata from Brazil has sent me the most divine pics of my kittens, taken on her recent trip out to visit us. Thank you Renata for remembering my birthday. how beautiful are these pics?

Swim meet at Kings Park

I competed in the Kloof Minilympics this Sunday 28th feb 2010. There were over 350 children swimming! I have lots more practicing to do. But this is good because Kath Meaklim, World Short Course IM record holder, is coming to give me me pointers on my birthday this Thursday!! Kath is the most fun person, she has come out and swum with my Dad's sharks a few times.  I took first place in my heat for Fly and second place overall.

Ella takes Yo TV out to sea

Today I took the Yo TV crew out to meet the blacktip pack and the whalesharks. My dad skippered the boat and my mom dived with me. There were loads of blacktip sharks and the water was really clean. To watch me swim with Sharks you are going to have to catch my show on Yo TV!

Whale Sharks galore at Shark Park

Yesterday my dad took me out to swim with the whale sharks! it was such fun!

Baking is Fun!

Beware Backflips!

I was doing backflips in the pool and cracked my head open on the tiles. I had four stitches and it was very sore when the anaesthetic wore off. The stitches come out next week and then I will be back in the water.
